Terms of service

Article 1 – Definitions

In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

Reflection Period: The period of 14 days during which the Customer has the right to withdraw from the Agreement without providing any reason.
Consumer: The natural person who is not acting in the course of a profession or business and enters into a distance contract with the Entrepreneur.
Customer: Any natural or legal person who purchases products from Sol & Raya.
Customer Service: The support service, available via info@solandraya.com.
Entrepreneur: The natural or legal person who offers products to consumers via distance selling.
Distance Contract: A contract concluded within the framework of a system for distance selling of products, organised by the Entrepreneur, whereby exclusive use is made of one or more means of distance communication until the conclusion of the contract.

Article 3 – Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to every offer made by Sol & Raya and to every distance contract concluded between Sol & Raya and the Consumer.


Article 4 – Right of Withdrawal and Returns Policy

4.1 The Consumer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days without providing any reason.
4.2 During the reflection period, the Consumer shall handle the product and its packaging with care. The product may only be unpacked or used to the extent necessary to determine the nature and characteristics of the product.
4.3 The Reflection Period does not apply to personalised products or items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (such as earrings).
4.4 Earrings cannot be returned due to hygiene considerations.
4.5 Return shipments must be requested in advance via Customer Service. Return shipping costs are borne by the Consumer.
4.6 If the Consumer exercises the right of withdrawal, Sol & Raya will refund the full purchase amount within 14 days after receiving the returned product.


Article 5 – Prices and Payment

5.1 All listed prices include VAT and exclude additional costs such as shipping or administrative fees.
5.2 Payment can be made via iDEAL, PayPal, credit card or Klarna.
5.3 The minimum order value is €25.
5.4 Payment must be completed in a timely manner. If payment is not made, interest and collection fees may be charged.


Article 6 – Delivery and Execution

6.1 Orders placed on business days before 16:00 will be delivered the next working day.
6.2 Stated delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed.
6.3 Delivery takes place via PostNL or DHL.
6.4 The Customer must provide a correct delivery address. Sol & Raya is not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect information.
6.5 Sol & Raya currently delivers only within the Netherlands.
6.6 For orders of €80 or more, no shipping costs will be charged.


Article 7 – Warranty

7.1 All Sol & Raya jewellery comes with a 6‑month warranty covering manufacturing defects.
7.2 The warranty becomes void if the product has not been used in accordance with normal usage guidelines or in the case of damage caused by improper use.
7.3 To maintain warranty eligibility, we recommend the following care guidelines:

  • Remove jewellery when sleeping, showering, or exercising.
  • Do not spray perfume directly onto the jewellery; apply perfume first, then put on your jewellery.
  • Store jewellery in a dry and dark place, such as a jewellery box, to preserve quality.

Article 8 – Complaints Procedure

8.1 Complaints regarding the execution of the agreement must be submitted to Sol & Raya Customer Service within 14 days of discovery, clearly and fully described.
8.2 Complaints submitted to Sol & Raya will be answered within 14 days.


Article 9 – Intellectual Property and Personal Data

9.1 All intellectual property rights relating to the Products and the Website remain the property of Sol & Raya.
9.2 By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the Customer agrees to the processing of Personal Data as described in the Privacy Policy.


Article 10 – Liability

10.1 Sol & Raya is only liable for damages resulting from proven negligence or unlawful conduct, up to a maximum of the purchase value of the relevant Product.
10.2 Sol & Raya is not liable for damage caused by improper use of the Products.


Article 11 – Applicable Law and Competent Court

11.1 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is declared invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain fully in effect.
11.2 All agreements between Sol & Raya and the Consumer to which these terms and conditions apply are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
